The Red Barn Fire-and-Ash Wine Dinner will take place on November 4th, offering tasty morsels, wine and tours of the farm and gardens along with the opportunity to learn from a variety of guest speakers.
Touring the Facilities
At 6:30 pm, participants will have the opportunity to tour the farm and garden. Created with the goal of educating youth about agriculture and its importance in our daily lives, Centennial Farm is a three-acre working farm that is home to fruit and vegetable gardens as well as an array of livestock. The tour allows participants to get a behind-the-scenes look at the farm and how it gives back to the community.
Tasting California’s Best
The exclusive Red Barn Fire-and-Ash Wine Dinner will begin at 7:30 pm when the Millennium Barn doors open. The event will feature live-fire exhibition-style appetizers along with sparkling wines provided by Orange County Wine Society (OCWS). Curated by OC Fair Culinary Supervisor Pan Wnuck, the multi-course family-style wine dinner will showcase California’s bountiful produce and artisan meats. The menu includes:

The food is made possible with the help of Executive Chef Jesse Lopez of Spectra Food Services and Chef Annie Morgan of KOCI Radio’s Pots and Pans with Jack and Annie, while the wine is from California producers Angelina Vineyards, Courtney Benham Wines and Martin Ray Vineyards & Wineary. The wines included in the event were curated by Irv Wnuck, COO of Seize the Vine.

In addition to the great food and wine, the event will also feature a number of special guests. These include:
• Guy Buffet: French-American artists whose restaurant-themed art has been featured in Wine & Travel and Food Arts magazines (the evening’s honored guest)

• Thom Curry: Owner of Temecula Olive Oil Company (speaker)

The event, which is restricted to guests 21 and older, are available for $125 per person. This includes dinner, wines, gratuity, tax and parking. Centennial Farm is located at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.
