Indian Wells history

The area that is now Indian Wells was once a thriving Native American village. In the mid-1800s when gold was discovered in the Colorado River, the area became a valuable mining destination. It officially became the 400th city of California on July 14, 1967.

Foodies will love the variety of cuisines available in Indian Wells.
