Thrills and Chills with Haunted Houses in Orange County

Looking for a haunted house to enjoy this year in Orange County? If so, you are in luck! Here are just a few options you might want to explore this year.

Motel 6 Feet Under

Anaheim’s Motel 6 Feet Under is a haunted maze featuring state-of-the-art props and animatronics along with a dedicated staff of haunting ghouls. The non-profit haunted house, which raises money to benefit the local community, is partnered with BOO! (Building Occupational Opportunities). BOO! benefits local under-served adults by providing construction training and theatrical arts.

Motel 6 Feet Under, which is open Wednesdays through Sundays, opens October 6th and continues through November 4th. It is located at the Business Expo Center at 1960 South Anaheim Way in Anaheim.

Haunt at Heritage Hill

Haunt at Heritage Hill provides a haunted house, music, stage performances, mazes and classic horror movie screenings on October 13th and 14th and the Heritage Hill Historical Park. Recommended for those 12 years and older, participants are invited to wear costumes to the event.

Heritage Hill Historical Park is located at 2515 Serrano Road in Lake Forest. The event takes place from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm each night. Admission is $8 per person.

Halloween at Knott’s Berry Farm

Spread over 160 acres, Knott’s Berry Farm offers Knott’s Scary Farm and Knott’s Spooky Farm during the holiday season. From now until October 31st, the park is transformed into your worst nightmare with live shows, themed mazes and scare zones featuring hundreds of free-roaming monsters. During the day, kids between the ages of 3 and 11 can come to the park to enjoy “Snoopy’s Costume Party” at Camp Snoopy. The non-scare social event offers shows, activities and trick-or-treating. From 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Knott’s Berry Farm is located at 8039 Beach Boulevard.

Haunted Trails

Crown Valley Community Park will be once again hosting Haunted Trails on the hill behind the Laguna Niguel City Hall. Groups of 10 to 12 people will be escorted through the grounds as they explore an old abandoned courthouse and a secret vault filled with Zombies. Participants will climb stairs as they wind through western mazes and tents.

Crown Valley Community Park is located at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway, with the event taking place at the entrance to the park on the emergency room. This event is not recommended for children under the age of 8. Tickets are $13 when purchased ahead of time or $15 at the event. Haunted Trails takes place October 26th through the 28th.

Casa Creepy: Haunted House

One of the most fun and unique haunted houses for families in Orange County, Casa Creepy: Haunted House offers encounters with ghosts, mummies and other surprises in a 1927 homes. The event also features period films, such as Nosferatu, and vintage-theme special effects. Candy and refreshments are also available.

The Casa Creepy: Haunted House takes place at Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, which is located at 415 Avenida Granada in San Clemente. The event takes place on October 27th, 28th and 31st from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for those aged 12 and under. Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a non-profit cultural center and the historic home of the founder of San Clemente.
