Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch
Irvine Park Railroad?s annual pumpkin patch is open now until the end of the month. In addition to picking out pumpkins for the holiday season, participants can also enjoy hay rides, train rides, pony rides, a hay maze, a moon bounce house, face painting and a haunted house. The event also offers opportunities to pan for gold as well as plenty of photo opportunities.
Irvine Park Railroad is located at 1 Irvine Park Road in Orange. Admission to the pumpkin patch is free, though prices for other activities vary. School and group discounts are available for tours of the pumpkin patch.
Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade
A tradition in Anaheim since 1924, the Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday, October 28th. The Anaheim Fall Festival will take place in conjunction with the parade, offering live entertainment, games, food booths, a craft fair, a pumpkin patch and a haunted house. The event will also offer a children?s costume contest and trick-or-treating.
The parade and fall festival take place in various parts of Downtown Anaheim at the Center Street Promenade.
City of Cypress Halloween Carnival
The City of Cypress Halloween Carnival takes place on Halloween at the Cypress Community Center. The event, which starts at 6:00 pm, will offer family entertainment, games and trick-or-treat. Food will also be available for an additional fee.
The Cypress Community Center is located at 5700 Orange Avenue. The price of admission is $3, with children under 1 admitted for free.
Fall Fest
Compass Bible Church will once again host its Fall Fest on October 31st from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. This family-friendly, free event offers rides, games and candy. Food is also available at a small charge. Guests are invited to wear costumes, though no scary costumes are allowed. Compass Bible Church is located at 140 Columbia in Aliso Viejo. Parking is available onsite, but a drop off zone is also available.
Treats in the Streets Autumn Festival
Old Town Orange Plaza will host the Treats in the Streets Autumn Festival on October 26th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. During the event, the streets surrounding Old Towne Plaza will be closed off to traffic as Old Towne merchants decorate their shops and non-profit groups provide tasty treats for a small fee. Free activities include trick-or-treating, games, a costume parade and other entertainment.
Old Towne Plaza is located at Chapman Avenue and Glassell. Participants are invited to wear costumes, but are asked to leave masks at home.
Halloween Howl
The Columbus Tustin Activity Center will host Halloween Howl on Halloween from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The family-friendly event will offer a variety of different forms of entertainment, including carnival games, prizes and candy. The event, which is made possible by the City of Tustin Parks & Recreation, will also feature a costume contest. The Columbus Tustin Activity Center is located at 17522 Beneta Way at the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Prospect.
